Charango Straps

The shoulder strap is a very important accessory for the charango. Not all musicians use it, but playing the charango without a strap constrains the right hand and requires a special technique, which limits the possibilities of movement. To get the most out of the charango, especially if you are a beginner, it is important to use a shoulder strap from the start.

To mount a strap on a charango that is not set up, simply add the appropriate strap buttons, which are sold in every music shop. If you are not familiar, you can ask your shopkeeper or a luthier to do it for you.
