A mariposa charango that reinterprets classical design with a contemporary approach. In this model, Pedro Quispe Torrez reworks one of the most distinctive features: the soundhole on the top, significantly enlarged to produce a more open and projecting sound.

Compared to traditional mariposa models, the tone is warmer and rounder, while maintaining the clarity typical of his craftsmanship. The Val di Fiemme red spruce soundboard ensures precise dynamics, strong sensitivity to touch, and rich harmonics.

The fingerboard is made of jacaranda. The 38 cm scale length feels comfortable under the fingers, offering a good balance between tension and playability. The result is a charango that preserves the mariposa identity, but with a more modern and powerful voice, suitable for both traditional and contemporary use.

Designed for those starting to explore the solo potential of the charango.
