Semi-professional classic charango

BY Pedro Quispe Torrez

On backorder

310.00 €

This semi-professional charango by Pedro Quispe Torrez is an excellent entry point into the sound world of one of the most respected luthiers of the Bolivian tradition. It is a classic round soundhole model, built with a naranjillo body, Val di Fiemme spruce soundboard, and jacaranda fingerboard.
Designed as an entry-level version of the Pedro Quispe Torrez sound, it already offers solid performance. The construction focuses on accurate and stable intonation, allowing for better note definition and extension in the higher octaves, which is often a limitation in lower-end instruments.
The tone remains that of a semi-professional charango: less complex and deep than concert models, but still balanced, clear, and fully functional for both study and more structured musical contexts.
Ideal for players who are starting out and want to step up to a more serious, reliable, and well-built instrument, with consistent response across the fingerboard.
