This is an outstanding ronroco / charangón crafted by the esteemed bolivian luthier Pedro Quispe Torrez, a high-quality instrument designed for discerning musicians. Featuring a 45 cm scale length, this ronroco stands out for its rosewood body, shaped in the elegant asymmetrical Argentine style, combining aesthetic refinement with structural strength. The ebony fingerboard ensures smooth and precise playability, while the sober yet sophisticated decoration reflects the luthier’s impeccable taste. Made from top-grade Italian Val di Fiemme spruce, the top ensures exceptional resonance.

From a sonic perspective, this ronroco delivers a warm, deep, and enveloping sound, with a timbre reminiscent of Gustavo Santaolalla’s iconic style, evoking intense and emotive musical landscapes. Its powerful projection makes it ideal for live performances, with a dynamic response that allows for natural expressive control. Perfect for both punteo and rasgueo techniques, it offers a sound rich in harmonics, with remarkable sustain and crystal-clear definition.

The instrument comes fitted with Medina Artigas strings, though upgrading to Aquila Sugar strings is recommended for enhanced timbral brilliance and precision. It includes a passive piezo pickup, enabling amplification without sacrificing the instrument’s natural tone. A soft case is included.
